USOM EVENT RESULTS –SATURDAY 17 JUNE – MANSFIELD HOLLOW SITE
Rain has been our constant companion this season. Saturday was also visited by rain, however the amount was just a sprinkle. It looks like the rain gods are running low. After the few drops the day settled down with a light overcast, which shielded us from the burning sun rays. The winds were generally steady with light to moderate periods. Lots of competitors had alternative plans so we ended up with three boats; not totally a bad thing. It was very relaxing and consisted of basic sailing, not working through traffic jams and starting line conflicts. The results are shown below:

NEXT IOM EVENT –SATURDAY 24 JUNE – MANSFIELD HOLLOW SITE
Our next club event is the 4th in the Spring IOM series. The Spring series ends up with the 22 July regatta and the Fall series starts on 29 July. The top of the standing are Greg Vasileff, Dan Crowley, Ron Rhault and Jake Leo, all closely packed with only two points separating them.
NEXT SPECIAL EVENT (EC-12 OPEN) –SATURDAY 1 JULY– MANSFIELD HOLLOW SITE
We will have the opportunity to have the stately EC-12s compete at our site on the first of July. Jake Leo has championed the event and will be the RD. If the fleet size of the EC-12s is small then we may invite other larger boats to fill the field. Stay tuned for latest developments. regards, Rich
